Now you're ready to make the perfect keto philly cheesesteak casserole! It's quick and easy to make with just 10 minutes of prep and will be ready to eat in 40 minutes.

First, before we get started, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Brown your ground beef. In a large pan or skillet start cooking the beef breaking up any large chunks. Season with salt and pepper.

Sauté your vegetables. Add your chopped onions and peppers to the beef and cook for around 10 minutes over medium-high heat. Do this until the beef is golden brown. Once everything is ready add your parsley and stir until it's mixed in.
Transfer to an oven dish. Now we're almost ready to bake! Transfer the mixture to an ovenproof baking dish or casserole dish.

Add the cheese. Add dollops of cream cheese evenly over the surface of the mixture. Next, add the slices of provolone cheese on top making sure to cover it entirely.

Bake the casserole. Bake the casserole in your preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Time to serve. Allow the casserole to cool for around 5 minutes and then serve hot. Make sure you cook enough because everyone will ask for seconds!

Can you substitute ground chicken or turkey for the beef?
Also how much butter should be used? I did not see that in the recipe but I may have missed it.

Hi Kat, you can definitely replace the ground beef with ground chicken or turkey and it'll be just as delicious 🙂
I've updated the recipe to show the butter, you just need about a tablespoon to cook the ground meat and veggies.
