How To Make Lahmacun (Turkish Pizza)

First, you'll need to make the fathead dough used as the flatbread for our lahmacun. We have a super-easy keto fathead dough recipe that only needs 4-ingredients, check it out here.

    Lahmacun made with fathead dough

Once your fathead dough is ready preheat your oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit while you prepare the toppings. Heat your grapeseed oil in a pan and sauté the ground beef and minced onions for 10-minutes.

While it cooks season with salt, paprika, cumin and cinnamon to taste. Finally, add the tomato puree and simmer for another 1 to 2 minutes.

    How to make lahmacun

Spread the topping evenly over the fathead dough circles and then bake for around 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Once the edges are golden brown your lahmacun is ready to eat!

I recommend not using grapeseed oil. It is not recommended for keto, it is a very unhealthy oil loaded with omega 6's which everyone is getting loads of this in America and the cause of many of our health problems and obesity. Highly refined oils are usually extracted using high heat and chemicals. This process strips out the nutrients from the oil and replaces them with harmful chemicals. I recommend unrefined red palm oil, avocado or even coconut oil.
