  • Fried mushroom bun
  • Your choice of sauce
  • Prepared feta cheese cubes
  • Sliced tomato
  • Sliced onions
  • Beef patty
  • Iceberg lettuce (or spinach)
  • Fried mushroom bun

This recipe also calls for a marinade for your mushrooms.

For that, you will need ½ tablespoon coconut oil, salt, pepper, a minced garlic clove, and oregano.

Next, you will need to know how to prepare your bunless burger.

Here are all the steps you should take:

  1. Turn on your grill (or stove) to high.
  2. Make the marinade by combining your coconut oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and oregano in a bowl.
  3. Scrape the insides of the portabella mushrooms out and cover them in your marinade. Let them sit until the meat is ready to grill too.

Here is what you are going to need to create this delicious burger and how to stack the ingredients up:

  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Sliced spicy peppers
  • Sliced onions
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Cheese slice
  • Beef patty
  • Cabbage salad
  • Iceberg lettuce

Before you start making the lettuce bunless burger, you will want to prepare your cabbage salad in advance.

You can make it whichever way you think tastes best- but basic cabbage salads are made from shredded green and red cabbage covered in a vinegar dressing.
