My green beans wrapped with bacon strips are an elegant and delicious side dish or appetizer. A great way to turn plain green beans into something special and wow your guests. Only 4 ingredients and just 4g net carbs!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Green Beans trimmed, fresh or frozen and thawed
  • 6 slices Bacon thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Butter melted, or olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • Sea Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper freshly ground, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Gather the ingredients and preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

  • Bring a large saucepan of salted water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 2-3 minutes.

  • Thoroughly drain the green beans in a colander and pat them dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel.

  • Place them in a mixing bowl and coat them with melted butter/olive oil—season with a pinch of sea salt, garlic powder, and freshly ground black pepper. Set aside.

  • Heat a dry pan and cook the bacon for a few seconds until slightly golden.

  • Divide the beans into small bunches of 8 to 10 beans. Wrap each bundle with a slice of bacon, tucking the end of the bacon strip underneath to keep it in place.

  • Arrange the wrapped beans on the baking tray and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes until golden and crispy.

  • Transfer to a plate and serve hot, drizzled with balsamic vinegar.
